#Nuntius, an interactive TikTok project
#Nuntius was an interactive TikTok project created as a partial fulfillment for the degree of Master of Creative Industries through SAE Institute, Australia.

Synopsis: Mira is a half-Filipina Australian learning about her Filipino identity. Throughout #Nuntius she starts to learn about an experiment that was conducted on her as a child, causing her to develop bee-like traits. What she doesn't know... she's a worker bee. Her back starts developing thin insect-like wings, useless to her. Her instinct to find and work for her hive begins to grow as she gets closer to finding Nuntius.

The series begins with Mira explaining a note left by Nuntius in her backpack while she is at a park. Unsure what to do, she asks her TikTok following for advice. She wants to meet with this group, but how?

Purpose: This project encourages audiences' input through their ideas and suggestions while filming each episode as the audience interacts. Unlike traditional interactive productions which may offer audiences multiple pre-recorded choices, #Nuntius looks to experiment and understand the interactive features available on the TikTok platform. The exegesis offers future filmmakers suggestions for those interested in creating episodic or non-episode interactive stories for TikTok.
